This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
You are trying to improve translations on your website using the WPML plugin, but find the current translations unsatisfactory and need to re-translate about 40% of the content. You are also unsure how to search for words in the WPML translator plugin and how to re-translate words.
Solution:
1) To update translations, first edit the page in the default language. Then, click the Pencil icon to open the translation editor where you can update the translation.
2) If you encounter untranslated content, it might be due to an Elementor widget that hasn't been registered for translation. We recommend checking our guide on registering custom Elementor widgets for translation to resolve this issue.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. For further assistance, you can always contact us through the WPML support forum.
