This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client needs to translate a string in the custom post format URL in the permalinks, specifically the segment "praca-za-granica" to different languages.
Solution:
We explained that custom strings added to the custom structure permalink are not directly translatable via WPML. We recommended creating a custom parent category with the same slug and assigning it to the posts. This approach allows the category/post-name permalink structure to maintain a consistent appearance across translations. Additionally, we suggested that the client might need custom programming work, which is beyond our support scope. For this, we advised contacting one of our certified partners. If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket.
