However, I’m now facing an issue: I have no idea how to translate the two buttons in the BuddyBoss template. All relevant translation strings appear to be correctly translated, but the buttons still display only in English.
Would you be able to check this on a staging site of mine first?
And I have at the standard registration a wrong link, here I needed a solution to have the button with link in the current language, can you check this then also?
Let me paste the usual access request here and I'll check your staging site.
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue.
It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated.
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I'll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site.
This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content.
Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site.
Let me know if this is ok with you.
IMPORTANT
-Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
-If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link"">hidden link;
You need to do the following:
- Go to WPML > String Translation
- Expand "Can't find the strings you're looking to translate?"
- Click on "Choose texts for translation"
- There look for "jmstart" and add it to the string translation table
- Go back to WPML > String Translation
- Look for the string "jmstart"
I translated it to "/es/wp-login.php?action=register&itsec-hb-token=jmstart" and it's working on your test site now (I did it only for Spanish).
I tried translating it to "/es/jmstart" but it doesn't. I guess there is a redirection applied to "/jmstart". If you do the same to the translations it should work.
About "how to translate the both buttons in the right corner in the header":
I attached a screenshot of the header of your site in Spanish. I don't see any buttons untranslated. Can you please clarify that?
Hi,
Yes, it is solved! Thanks, sometimes I am surprised by WPML, the URL was added and the translation of the buttons appear.
Only one string is not translated, and I don't knwo how I can do this, I don't find it in the strings translations and also not in the admin strings, it is "This site uses Passwordless Registration".
Can you check this please?
Thanks, kind regards
Eric

WordPress has many moving pieces. We need to find where the string is coming from to understand how it can be translated with WPML. But we know that sometimes it may be difficult, and we do our best to help 🙂
That said, I've created a new ticket for (hopefully) the last issue.
