Background of the issue:
I am using WPML with the Husky Products Filter Professional on my site hidden link. I want to maintain active filters when switching languages on my site.
Symptoms:
When I switch languages on a page with active filters, the URL changes from hidden link to hidden link, losing the active filters.
Questions:
How can I maintain active filters when switching languages using WPML?
I'm not sure it will work once you translate the categories because the parameters will need to be preserved and translated. In any case, it's worth giving it a try 🙂
It may be possible that this scenario was not considered because it is not a common use case that a user switches when he already started to filter in one language.
Please let me know how it goes, and we will move forward from there, a proper solution may need some compatibility work.
I implement the solution you sent but it didn't work. By keeping the parameters in the url you also keep the values. For example: hidden link keeping the "pa_categoria-de-loja-2" also keeps the "noivado".
The url in English should be as: hidden link
hidden link
The strange thing is that with the same plugins on the old website it works.
Weirdly, it's working on the other website.. but it gives us hope :). It may be a compatibility or a configuration problem, so we need to see the problem from scratch in a minimal environment.
I created a fresh WP install to see the problem in a minimal environment.
Can you please help me set it up and reproduce the issue? I installed WooCommerce, WPML, and WCML. Can you please install and configure the Husky Products Filter Professional plugin?
