Background of the issue:
My site is globally configured to use the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE), and it works correctly for my pages. However, I am trying to open the ATE for the strings of Fluent Forms, and it is not working. This makes correcting the automatic translation difficult.

Symptoms:
I am not able to open the ATE for the strings of Fluent Forms.

Questions:
Why is the ATE not working for the strings of Fluent Forms?
How can I correct the automatic translation for Fluent Forms strings?

Thanks for contacting us. Fluent Forms plugin is compatible with WPML plugin and have you tried translating the forms following the instructions provided by the plugin author here https://wpml.org/plugin/fluent-forms/ ?

Hello Kor,
well yes I can translate it but it would be much better to use the ATE. Correcting the automatic translation with the string translation table is not optimal. Is there a way to get the ATE to work for the strings of fluent forms?

Hi there,

You should be able to go to the forms "Enable the translation for the form", and then navigate to WPML->Translation management->filter by Fluent Forms and send the form for translation.

Once you do, go to WPML->Translations and open the form translation, this will open in the ATE editor.

Let me know your results, please.

Also, you can see the flow in the following documentation:

aha! after having translated automatically I was not getting the form in translations. I did it again choosing "I translate myself" and then I was able to open the ATE. And the automatic translations are there.
Thank you very much!!
