Background of the issue:
I am trying to renew the subscription for my WPML account.
Symptoms:
When I fill in the credit card info and hit the button 'place order', the system does not proceed to the OTP page of the web banking. Instead, I get an error that the card was declined. The card is generally enabled and completes transactions without issue.
Questions:
Why is my credit card being declined when trying to renew my WPML subscription?
How can I successfully complete the payment process for my WPML subscription renewal?
the renewal was made by one of your collegue because i did a meeting providing feedback for wpml. For that reason i was given a free year by the support team. you can see the printscreen of the mail conversation
What does that error mean in your system? please provide more info as this is an active card working with no problem. I want a specific answer
Thanks for pointing this out. I couldn't find it anywhere but I imagined you were granted a free extension.
About the error, like I explained before, we see your bank blocked the transaction. Sometimes, online transactions need a special authorization and this may be the case (although other online transactions may be working OK). Please contact your bank about this and ask them to remove te block. Once this has been done I can contact the payment processor and ask them to authorize the transaction too.
