Hello, Could you please confirm if this issue also occurs when trying to upload other plugins? (Not only WPML plugins)? Can you install WPML Export & Import by going to Plugins > Add new and clicking on the "Commercial" tab? Does the issue maybe disappear if you disable "WP Engine Smart Plugin Manager"? Best regards |

Hello, I'm glad to hear that the original issue has been resolved. Is there anything else we can help you with? Regards! |

Hi actually the issue has not been resolved. We recently created a Canadian Version of our website on our staging environment and we want to now move that Canadian language version over to our production site. However, all the necessary WPML plugins on our staging site are showing as expired and not registered, event though the site is registered on our account as a development site (please see attached image). When I try to input the key, I just see a blank screen. I'm not sure why this is happening or why none of the exports/imports are working within WPML. I'm also not sure if there is another method to move the Canadian version of our site over to Production that I haven't tried yet. |

I am just looking to safely move the newly created /en-ca/ version of our EcoOnline site from staging to production without overriding any of the current content on our production site. It's proving extremely difficult even though WPML says the plugin is built for scenarios such as these. This matter is a bit urgent |

Hi, In this case, I'd recommend creating a staging site of the production site (you can use the WP Staging plugin for free) and then importing the en-ca content. Once the content is correctly imported, just update the production site. This way, you might avoid the problem in the local site that might not be correctly restored or migrated; also, there is a chance that your local environment is not connecting correctly to our servers. Please let me know the results once you create the staging site and run the import. |

Hi Carlos, We were working off of a staging site that was a clone of the production site and ALL the WPML plugins were still showing as 'account expired.' It also doesn't explain why I can't download of the WPML plugins from my account dashboard or why when I try to export the XLIFF files from Translations it also doesn't work. There is an issue with my account and I'm not sure what it is. I've tried exporting the CA content from staging into production but that also fails or doesn't import correctly |

Hi, Please provide the access credentials to the staging site so I can double-check the configuration and the plugin problems first. Once we solve that, then we will solve the import/export problem. I have set your next message private so you can securely share the access credentials to the staging site. |

Good morning, 1.- Please update all outdated plugins, themes, and the WordPress core in this link: hidden link 2.- Did you register the staging site as a development site or did you ran the migration process? |

Good morning, Yes the staging site is registered as a development site on my WPML account. As for the updates, our production site is also still running 6.7.4 WordPress core and has many of the same plugins that need to be updated but the WPML plugins do not have 'your account is expired - please renew.' They appear as registered plugins. I do understand the importance of updating plugins but with our site, it's not as simple as just updating since the way it was built by an external agency, we often run in to conflicts. |

Hi, I understand the situation. I have checked the site again, and I suspect that the cause of the issue might be in the theme, because I just saw a fatal error (I didn't copy it) coming from the theme files. Do you authorize me to deactivate/activate the plugins and themes on the staging site? |

Hi Carlos, We decided that we would just re-create the CA version of our site on production, as the plugins were not working as they should be for the export/import to work. We did our own troubleshooting with deactivating themes and plugins and it still was not working. I'm not sure what the issue is but I do hope that WPML resolves this as our site relies fully on the a functioning WPML plugin suite. |
