I checked my settings and it says that the Rest API is disabled. But I don't understand why, as I haven't activated any particular security.

Hi,

Here is the new ticket. The Rest API is disabled due to some issues: an internal error, disabled from the hosting setting.
I suggest you enable a minimal environment as below and see if it helps:
- deactivate all non-WPML plugins
- switch to a standard theme of WordPress
❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌
You can use this plugin to create the backup: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

If it is still disabled, please get in touch with your hosting support and ask them to enable Rest API for your site.
