Tell us what you are trying to do?

I have activated the plugins and tried to edit a page, but I get a 502 error bad gateway nginx.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

I tried to look in your forum, and I saw several tickets but in most of them you took control and fixed it

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Unfortunately the error is shown from the wordpress interface when editing the page.

Hi There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support. I will be happy to help you in this matter.

Kindly be informed that if WPML has any kind of involvement in this issue, we will definitely try our best to fix the issue. Would you kindly check what happens if you disable other plugins except for WPML(including its add-ons) and Elementor Plugin?

If that solves the issue, then start activating the plugins one by one and after activating each, check if the issue is happening again or not. Continue this process until you're able to identify the plugin that is responsible for the issue.

Additionally, please also check this article by Elementor to solve the Bad gateway issue: hidden link

Let me know the update. I will be happy to assist you further.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit

Hi there,

I already checked if an other plugin is causing the issue, tho is not.
I have already gone to the link you have sent from elementor and this didn’t help.

For now I am activating the WPML plugin to create the pages and the translations but if I want to edit the pages, I need to disable all the WOML plugins. Then select the page with the correct translation and make the change. Once the change is done I reactivate the WPML plugin to make the languages options live.

Hi There,
Thanks for trying out the suggestions.

As the issue persists, a closer inspection will require to understand the root cause of the issue. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.

IMPORTANT
-Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
-If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

Looking forward to your response.

Hi There,

Unfortunately, the access you've shared is not working. The password says incorrect.

Would you kindly check and share the correct access information? It will be better if you could share access to a staging site where the issue is replicated successfully so that I can debug the issue by applying the required debugging techniques. Otherwise, make sure to take a full backup of the main site.

I already have enabled the private field for you. Looking forward top your response.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit

Hello There,
I hope you're doing well.

While preparing a response for you, I noticed that you had resolved this thread and given it a ‘Not Good’ rating. I completely understand your disappointment and want to let you know that the delay in response happened due to the weekend. I'm sorry for any inconvenience you had in the meantime.

As the issue wasn't solved yet, I reopened the case and would be happy to investigate and solve the issue. Please note that a response will be sent in a timely manner from now.

As you've marked the thread as resolved, the Login information was removed from the response. Could you please share the access information to your staging site again? I will start the investigation and let you know an update soon.

The enabled the private field for you again. Looking forward to your response and kind cooperation in this matter.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit
