[Resolved] If we enable WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency with WPML plugin , The product options are mis...
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are experiencing an issue where product options added by 'Bopo - WooCommerce Product Bundle Builder Premium' plugin, from the Arabic single product page do not appear on the checkout page when using WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency with the WPML plugin.
Solution: We have identified that the plugin 'Bopo - WooCommerce Product Bundle Builder Premium' and the theme 'Enzy' are not compatible with WPML. Unfortunately, none of the plugins from VillaTheme are currently compatible with WPML. We recommend contacting the plugin and theme authors and asking them to join the WPML’s Go Global program to ensure compatibility. You can find more information about this program and encourage your theme/plugin provider to participate here: Go Global program.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. For further assistance, you can contact us directly through our support forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Background of the issue:
I am trying to add product options from the Arabic single product page and proceed to checkout, but the options are missing. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link
Symptoms:
The product options are missing on the checkout page when using WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency with the WPML plugin on the Arabic page.
Questions:
Why are the product options missing on the Arabic checkout page?
How can I ensure product options appear correctly on the Arabic checkout page?
I noted that somehow your previously provided access information has been removed from the chat.
I need to take a closer look at your site. So I request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP), preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your next answer will be private, to share this information safely.
Also provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue and links to pages in the admin and on the frontend.
IMPORTANT: Please take a complete backup of the site to avoid data loss. I may need to activate/deactivate plugins also.
P.S.: That we can only communicate in this forum, via this ticket and all replies/notifications are sent to the email on your profile. Unfortunately there's no arrangement for adding additional emails.
Thank you for the access and the updates, I was able to login.
I've deactivated unnecessary plugins (including network activated) and have switched to the parent theme. I am working on this and 'll get back to you as soon as I find something or have a solution.
I've prepared a fresh setup with WPML, String Translation, WooCommerce, WCML, Bopo plugin and Enzy theme at hidden link (one-click login).
Here I've configured WPML, WC, WCML and Bopo plugin as per your test site. I've also added some products and have translated these.
However, I'm wondering how can I add the functionality to show those additional options? For example in cart (hidden link) and at checkout (hidden link).
Can you please take some time and enable that functionality, as well as, reproduce the issue in the above mentioned sandbox site? So I can then investigate further, check with my team and escalate accordingly.
I've checked in detail and can reproduce the issue in the sandbox, thanks again for creating that bundle product for better understanding.
However, after checking further, looks like you need to check with the plugin author. Because this plugin "Bopo - WooCommerce Product Bundle Builder Premium", as well as, the theme "Enzy" are not compatible with WPML.
Theme and plugin authors are welcome to join WPML’s Go Global program, which helps them make their code multilingual ready. Together with WPML’s compatibility team, they can test and confirm that their theme or plugin works with WPML. See https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/ for details and you can refer your theme/plugin provider to this as well.
Thank you for your understanding, please take your time and feel free to provide any technical information you receive from them. So we can check if it really relates to us and if we can help accordingly.
For the theme or plugin updates, I am not sure if they've integrated WPML/WCML to support their features. However, I already used the latest version I guess.
But of course you should verify about the latest versions, because in the WP dashboard there's a notice about outdated WooCommerce templates (screenshot attached).
