am writing to seek assistance with a translation issue I am facing while using the Flatsome theme.

Specifically, I would like to translate the text "Search..." that appears in the search bar on my website. I initially contacted the Flatsome theme support team regarding this matter, but they directed me to seek assistance from the WPML support team as they suggested it falls under their domain.

However, upon further exploration, I was unable to locate the "flatsome-admin" section within the WPML > String Translation settings. It seems that the required translation string is not accessible through the conventional WPML translation interface.

I kindly request your guidance and support in resolving this translation matter. It is crucial for my website's user experience to have this text properly translated according to the target language.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with the necessary steps or guidance on how to translate the "Search..." text within the Flatsome theme using the WPML translation tools or any alternative methods available.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt assistance in resolving this translation issue.

Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve the issue.

Please try the following steps after a full site backup{mandatory} and make sure the issue is existing or not.

1) Upgrade to the latest version of WPML(4.6.4 series)

2) Increase *WP Memory Limit* to *256*(the minimum required memory limit for WPML is *128*). Please check the following links for more details

https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/

https://wordpress.org/support/article/editing-wp-config-php/#increasing-memory-allocated-to-php

3) Increase the *MaxInputVars* of PHP settings to *10000*. Please check the following article for more details or contact your system admin/hosting provider for this purpose.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. Please visit WPML>>String Translation after a site backup and enable the *Look for strings while pages are rendered* option of *Auto register strings for translation* section(on the bottom of the screen). Then visit the frontend pages and check whether the issue is existing or not. This option will be disabled in a couple of hours automatically. But will help us to track the issue in similar cases.

It will also help us to register the missing strings for translation in WPML>>String Translation panel.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. Please verify the following when the *Look for strings while pages are rendered* option of *Auto register strings for translation* is enabled.

1) Visit the site frontend and check whether the *Search* string is showing translation or not

2) Visit WPML>>String Translation, then find for the *Search* string and check is there any new entry

Also, please visit the WPML>Languages, settings page and make sure the following options are enabled.

a) Make themes work multilingual>>Adjust IDs for multilingual functionality

b) Language filtering for AJAX operations>>Store a language cookie to support language filtering for AJAX
