This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client reported that images were not displaying in the media library for secondary languages using WPML.
Solution:
1. We recommended checking the Media Translation settings in WPML:
* Navigate to WPML → Settings and ensure the option Automatically detect best options for translating image texts is turned on.
2. We advised sending content with media for translation:
* Go to WPML → Translation Dashboard, select the posts or pages with the images, and send them for translation to include media texts like alt text, captions, and descriptions.
3. If these steps do not resolve the issue, we suggested further troubleshooting to check if media attachments are linked and synchronized across all language versions and to inspect for any plugin or theme conflicts.
4. We also provided a link to a known issue that might be relevant: https://wpml.org/errata/template-is-not-applied-to-translated-page/
If the solution provided does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. Additionally, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
