Background of the issue:
I am using WPML on my WordPress site, which is set to English as the default language. Occasionally, I write articles in Spanish or French first and want to upload them in one of those languages without providing an English translation.

Symptoms:
Uncertainty about whether it is possible to upload articles in a non-default language without a translation in the default language.

Questions:
Is it possible to upload an article in a non-default language without having a translation in the default language on WPML?

Hi there,

Before this ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues I will try to answer the question.

Yes, it is possible. What you meed to do is to change the language in WordPress Dashboard from the Admin bar to the language in which you want to create the article.

Then click the Add new button of WordPress and add the article. After that you will have option to translate it to English and the other language if needed.

Thanks.
