Background of the issue:
We are experiencing an issue with our website where some of the translated content is not displaying correctly. We have integrated WPML with Crowdin, and Crowdin has confirmed that the request is being correctly sent to WPML. The exported XLIFF file from Crowdin is valid and contains all the translations.

Symptoms:
Some parts of the content are either not being displayed or are appearing as empty pages. Some content is coming in English and some in French.

Questions:
Could you please investigate this and Dear WPML Team,

I hope you’re doing well.

We are experiencing an issue where some of the translated content is not displaying correctly on our website. We have already discussed this matter with the Crowdin team, and they have confirmed that the request is being correctly sent from Crowdin to WPML. Additionally, they verified that the exported XLIFF file from Crowdin is valid and contains all the translations.

However, despite this, some parts of the content are either not being displayed or are appearing as empty pages. Since the XLIFF files seem to be correctly structured and contain the necessary translations, we would appreciate your assistance in identifying and resolving the issue on the WPML side.

Could you please investigate this and provide guidance on how we can resolve the issue? Let us know if you need any further details or access to debug this further.

Looking forward to your response.provide guidance on how we can resolve the issue?
Best regards,
Sapan Agarwal

While one of my teammates addresses your ticket, I will provide you with the initial debugging steps.

Please update your WPML plugin and any associated add-ons to the latest version, 4.7.0. This will allow you to benefit from the most recent bug fixes and improvements. While this update may not necessarily resolve your issue, working with the latest code will help us troubleshoot more effectively.

The latest released versions are under "My Account -> Downloads" on our website. Instructions for updating can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/.

If you do not see the updates, please click the "Check for updates" button in the Plugins → Add New Plugin → Commercial tab.

Remember to back up your database before proceeding.

If the issue persists after the update, please provide us with screenshots that illustrate the problem step by step.

Hello,

It would be worth investigating if the original text for your untranslated parts is actually inside the XLIFF file that is sent out to the service. Were you able to verify that?

Could you please create a translation job for this content, assign it to yourself, then open the translation editor by going to WPML > Translation and verify if the content is available for translation?

I am asking you to do this because I see you are using various Gutenberg Block Addons and it might be that a specific block is yet missing an XML Config to be translatable with WPML.

Important:
When using a professional translation service it is advisable to enable the Classic Translation Editor as a translation editor option for all your contents inside the WPML Settings page.

The reason is, that translations that are coming from professional translation services are only editable inside the Classic Translation Editor. The newer Advanced Translation Editor can not support those translations.

Best regards
Andreas
