Background of the issue:
We are encountering an issue with the submission of forms on WPML-translated pages in English and German. The site is under development, and we are using Elementor to create forms. We have contacted Elementor's assistance and checked everything, but the issue still exists.

Symptoms:
The form is invalid, as stated in the error, and this issue occurs only in the Chrome browser. Using other browsers like Safari and Edge makes the form submission work.

Questions:
Could you please check if this issue is related to WPML?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. I checked our known issues and I have found this:

https://wpml.org/errata/elementor-form-widget-select-field-breaks-when-translated-with-cte/

If you use the Classic Translation Editor then please switch it to the Advanced Translation Editor for the page that contains the form.

But if the issue is something else, I will need the exact error that is happening and the link to the page,

Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you. Would you please create a copy/staging version of the website and get back to us with the login information so we can check the details and see if we can find what might be the cause?

We do not want a live version as we want to deactivate plugins and do troubleshooting that might break a live website.

Thanks.

Hello again,

Is it feasible to make a copy of the website on another subdomain? Moreover, on a mutualized OVH server? recognizing that our website, hidden link, is hosted on an OVH virtual private server.

Would you be able to look into this copy?

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi,

I think it should be ok, as lons as we have access to WordPress admin that we are allowed to do changes without the fear of breaking a live website.

Hello,

Thank you for your response.

The website is very large in terms of size, thus we are preparing a copy of it without the media files.

When it's ready, we'll keep you updated on the access.

Best regards,
