We recently purchased the WPML plugin and start using it. Problem is only 2-3 forms are getting translated which are created after the plugin activation but we have 50+ forms in our website.
We've tried the below steps but can't fix it.
1) Visit WPML>>Translation Management Dashboard
2) Filter the posts by Gravity Forms
3) Choose the Forms you want to translate or update the existing translations
4) Send it to Translation Basket
5) Visit WPML>>Translation Management>>Translation Basket
6) Send it for translation, by choosing yourself as a translator
7) Visit WPML>>Translations queue and translate the Form by clicking the
Welcome to the WPML support forum. Let's start by meeting WPML's minimum requirements as it could impact translations. I've noticed your website has a low PHP memory allocation (40M). The minimum requirement for WPML is 128M but we recommend 256M:
- Access your server via FTP and open wp-config.php (in your WordPress root directory).
- Insert those lines just before /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
1. After increasing that memory, try again to translate your form to see if it solves the issue.
2. If it doesn't solve the issue, please create a staging copy of your site and let's try in minimal environment to see if it's a conflict with a third party plugin. For example, please deactivate any Gravity Forms add-ons, especially the ones that are not from the same company.
3. If the issue still persist, please provide me with a temporary admin access (wp-admin) to this staging copy – so I can further investigate. I will activate a private field for your next answer where you can provide that information safely (this field is only visible by you and the support team). Don't share your own admin account, create a new one that you will delete when we finish troubleshooting.
IMPORTANT: Before we proceed, please backup your site and database.
Also, give me a couple of "problematic" forms I can work on and give me the links where I can see them on the front-end.
Thanks for the access. It seems that the forms are not set as "English" (or any other language). I tried several solutions and troubleshooting options without success.
I need to replicate your site on our servers and run further tests.
For this, you need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” on your site. This will allow you to create a copy of your site and your content.
I have activated a private field for you where you can share those files (package + installer).
- You can exclude /wp-uploads from the copy to reduce the size
- Once the package is ready, if the files are too large to upload them to the private field, you can share a link to Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer or any other similar service.
