Background of the issue:
I am trying to integrate Greenshift and WPML seamlessly on a multilingual WordPress website without encountering issues with CSS synchronization and broken translations. Here is the link to the Greenshift support discussion: hidden link
Symptoms:
We are facing several issues with the integration of Greenshift and WPML on our multilingual WordPress website. The problems include broken translated pages and CSS rendering issues. Specifically, changes to the Italian version of a page corrupt the corresponding English translation, and CSS selectors become mismatched between the original and translated versions, causing layout and styling problems. Manual intervention is required to save the English version after changes to the Italian version. Changing the Greenshift style generation mode to 'inline in blocks' works for new pages but not for existing ones, which require a manual save for new styling to be applied.
Questions:
Why do existing pages require a manual save for the new styling to be applied?
Are there known conflicts or limitations with our setup?
What are the recommended best practices for using Greenshift and WPML together to avoid these issues in future projects?
We’ve reopened the ticket to thoroughly debug the issue with Greenshift and WPML integration. To assist further, could you kindly provide the following:
1. A page link and screenshots where the issue is visible.
2. Temporary access to your site (WP-Admin and FTP login info, preferably for a staging site) so I can look into the setup and debug the issue.
I’ve enabled a private input box for your next reply.
=== Please backup your database and website ===
✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important.
Looking forward,
Thank you for your cooperation
