Background of the issue:
I am trying to synchronize product categories from our English site to our Spanish site using WPML. We are also using Elastic Press for search functionality.

Symptoms:
Product categories aren't fully synched between the English and Spanish sites. Some products aren't showing up in certain categories. The search feature shows both English and Spanish results on both language sites.

Questions:
Why aren't certain products showing up in the correct categories on the Spanish site?
How can I configure the search feature to show only English products on the English site and Spanish products on the Spanish site?

Hello,

thanks for contacting us.

1) For product categories, check in back if the correct categories are assigned for both language products. This to confirm if the issue is on frontend or not correct categories are assigned.

2) Try next Go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting > Click on: Synchronize posts taxonomies (for Products and Variations)

3) Since we limit 1 issue per 1 ticket to keep things clear, I will open another ticket fro Elastic press and update you there.
