Hi, just wanted to add an update. I think my problem should be easier to fix now! I've got rid of the errors by adjusting some WordPress config variables. I can now see the WPForms post type available for translation - I can translate the forms using the advanced editor. However, If I switch the language on the site I still do not see the translation that I have completed. I also can't seem to find any field labels in the string translation section in order to make all elements of my forms translated. If you look at the simple contact form added to the test page hidden link I'm trying to get just this basic form translated and can't get it to work at all. I can translate page content absolutely fine. But not WPForms - this is the main reason I bought the plugin, because I thought it was going to be compatible and let me alter the emails and everything. Please help! I think my issue must be less complex now the warnings have been resolved. |

Hi, the issue should be with bedrock installation. I'm not sure what you did here, but I'd wait for the 2nd tier's debugging before proceeding. |

Hi Rose, Thanks for the details. You've set the "WPForms (wpforms)" to translatable in WPML > Settings > Custom Post Type translation. By default, this is set to "Do not translate". I have changed this and translated the form without any issue. hidden link (Check the title and submit button title) Please do not change the setting of the custom post type and taxonomies if those have the lock icon. If really needed contact the support forum. Thanks |

Thank you so much Sumit! I think we did that over instant chat when there more confusing errors on the site. I can see that the form translates now and have had a go myself too. It looks a lot less confusing without all the form tags in the translation screen as well! I see a lot of WPForms stings in the string translation that were not there before - which is great! The only thing I am still lost with, is how to translate sub-labels, like "First" and "Last" in the name field on that test form. I can't see those anywhere. We have a lot of survey forms that use tons of sub-labels to show Likert scales and it's really important we can get those translated. |

Hi, did you check all the options in here? If you need further help, I suggest you open a new ticket. We try to have only one issue per ticket, so it's easier for others to search the forum. This also allows supporters to be faster and more efficient. |
