Background of the issue:
I was trying to translate a Contact Form 7 using WPML. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
After installing WPML Contact Form 7, all my forms have disappeared. I expected to see the translated form, but instead, there are no more forms in the admin.
