[Resolved] Jet Smart Filter (Select Field) is retrieving empty results in Secondary language (Arabic)
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are using Jet Smart Filter with Elementor loop grid on your website, integrated with Jet Engine and ACF. The filter operates correctly in the primary language (English), but in the secondary language (Arabic), it retrieves empty results. Solution: We recommend updating the taxonomy in JetEngine-> Taxonomies-> Property Type. This update should resolve the issue, allowing the filter to work correctly in both languages.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

Background of the issue:
I am using Jet Smart Filter (Select Filter) with Elementor loop grid on my website with Jet Engine and ACF. The filter should work with taxonomy data which I successfully translated with WPML.
Symptoms:
The filter is working fine in the website's primary language (English), but in the secondary language (Arabic), it retrieves empty results.
Questions:
Can you help me with the filter issue in the secondary language?
Is there a known issue with Jet Smart Filter and WPML in handling secondary languages?
- For the first resource, I am not using (Select Boxes) so it is not related to my issue.
- And for the second resource, Yes, I follow the documentation but the issue remains!
Please note that one week earlier I had another issue, same as the following thread:
I'm Osama from WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
Thanks for the access details. I updated the Arabic filter. After that, I checked the filter on the front end, which worked as expected. (Kindly check this hidden link">screenshot)
Please check the filter and let me know if it works correctly.
The filter retrieves all taxonomies but when you choose any one of the taxonomies, it doesn't retrieve any post assigned to this taxonomy in the (Loop grid) under it.
In English, it is working fine, but in Arabic, it gives a message that says ( nothing to show in this taxonomy.
I installed a local copy of your site to debug the issue further. I fixed the issue by updating the taxonomy in JetEngine-> Taxonomies-> Property Type. After that update, the filter worked correctly in both languages.
I did the same on your site. Please check if the hidden link">filter works as expected.
