Thank you for the updates. Please try the following steps after a site backup and check if there are any differences in the result.
1) Open the Product for edit in the default language
2) Disable the WPML Translation Editor option from the WPML Language Widget(On the right side of the screen)
3) Chose *This Product* option and apply the changes
4) Update the Product
5) Translate the Product manually. Refer to the following documentation for more details. The example shown in the article is with Elementor but the workflow is the same.
If the issue exists, please try with Global Attributes for products instead of Custom Attributes and translate the attributes from WooCommerce>>WooCommerce Multilingual>>Attributes section. Then update the products and make sure the problem is existing or not.
I tried to use the default editor as described in your previous answer, could you doucle-check I did it the right way? hidden link
I still see no change, attributes are still in English.
The «individual» product (not the composite) is translated though. The label is incorrect only in the composite product. I did a quick screen recording to show you, the component is ok, and the composite is not (but they should be the same) : hidden link
Thank you for the updates. Please switch back to the WPML Translation Editor option for the product. It looks like a compatibility issue with WooCommerce Composite Products while having custom attributes.
So I have a request. Please try with Global Attributes for products instead of Custom Attributes and translate the Global Attributes from WooCommerce>>WooCommerce Multilingual>>Attributes section. Refer to the following documentation for more details.
Using Global Attributes works, the label is translated.
But I would like to use the custom attributes we have hundreds of products with many variations and it would be very time consuming to change them all.
Thank you for the updates. Sorry, the only workaround, for the time being, is Global Attributes. The bug is escalated to our developers for fixing and they are working on it. We will get back to you soon when we have an update from our developers and compatibility team on this. Please wait.
