Background of the issue:
I am trying to ensure that the footer on my website is displayed in Dutch. We edited the Dutch footer using the DIVI editor on one page and saved it. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
After editing the footer, the Dutch footer was replaced by the English one. Now, the English footer appears on all pages, and on the homepage, it appears twice.

Questions:
Why do we see the English footer twice?
Where is our Dutch footer gone?

Hello,

Please avoid editing Divi Theme Builder templates in second languages directly.

Instead, go to WPML > Translation Management > Dashboard and create one job for each template (header, body, footer).

Then access the jobs at WPML > Translations and translate the templates using the WPML Translation Editor. Make sure to translate them to 100%.

Best regards
Andreas
