This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate the LearnDash course grid on your site, but encountering issues where some parts are not fully translated. For example, terms like 'categories' and 'order by alphabetical' do not translate in Spanish, while others like 'start course' are partially translated ('start curso').
Solution:
To address this, we recommend two methods:
1. Navigate to WPML > String Translation. At the bottom of the page, enable the checkbox labeled "Look for strings while pages are rendered". Then, visit the front end of the page where the untranslated string appears, and return to WPML > String Translation to search for the string.
2. If the strings are not found in WPML > String Translation, they might be categorized as admin text strings. You can find a guide on how to locate and translate these strings here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/

If these solutions do not resolve your issue or seem outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I'm trying to translate Learn Dash grid on a site under development. Everything else in LearnDash translates perfectly, but the course grid has parts of it half translated.

Symptoms:
When I select the website to be in Spanish, words like 'categories' and 'order by alphabetical' won't translate. Other things like 'start course' will half translate like 'start curso', half English and half Spanish.

Questions:
How can I fully translate the LearnDash course grid using WPML?

Hi there.

Before this ticket gets assigned to my colleagues, I will try to help.

The proper way to translate strings depends a lot on how they have been implemented inside the theme/plugin.

Please try both methods and see if any of them resolves the issue.

Method 1:

Go to WPML > String Translation and at the bottom of the page you will find a checkbox called "Look for strings while pages are rendered". You can enable (check) that and then go to the front end to a page where you have that string showing up and then go back to WPML > String Translation and search for that string and see if it now shows up.

Method 2: If you can't find them inside the WPML > String Translation, they might be added as admin text strings.

This should be the normal process to find and translate admin text strings:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/

Please let us know how that goes.

Kind regards,

Thank you I used both methods, 1 and 2. Method 1 worked for some strings, and method 2 worked for others like the half translated stuff.

For the 2nd method I followed this video hidden link
and was very helpful and I found all my strings.
