This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is developing a site and wants to integrate WPML with LearnPress. They are unsure if the premium version of LearnPress is required to use the WPML Add-on for LearnPress.
Solution:
We clarified that we do not create the WPML Add-on for LearnPress, and it is actually developed by THIMPRESS. LearnPress is compatible with WPML, but for full multilingual capabilities, the premium version of LearnPress is necessary. Additionally, the WPML Add-on for LearnPress, which is bundled with the premium version, is required for smooth integration. We recommend contacting THIMPRESS for more details about the add-on. Also, check the compatibility details on https://wpml.org/plugin/learnpress.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hi there.

We do not create this plugin that you are mentioning (hidden link).

We don't have an add-on for Learnpress, so I recommend contacting the developer who built that plugin.

I hope that you will find this information helpful.

Also, please take a look here:

Learnpress is compatible with WPML (there's one known issue only).

You might not need that add-on.

Hi,

"You might not need that add-on"

The link you provided contradicts what you said:

"Please note: You will need to use the premium version of LearnPress for full multilingual capabilities. The WPML add-on for LearnPress is required (and this is bundled with the premium version)."

Actually, this note is what’s causing the confusion. I don’t see anywhere in the LearnPress documentation stating that the premium version is required, but the WPML link you provided indicates otherwise. That’s why I asked here—because WPML is the one making this claim.

Thank you.

Thank you so much for bringing this up! I really appreciate your understanding.

I apologize for any confusion on my part—I wasn’t aware of the company behind LearnPress. You’re absolutely right: THIMPRESS is the team that developed LearnPress, along with the WPML add-on for it. Typically, we handle our own add-ons, but sometimes the original developers prefer to create their own or have a pre-existing product that ensures compatibility with our plugins.

So, to clarify, if you want LearnPress to support multilingual functionality, you’ll need the PRO version. Additionally, to ensure that it works smoothly with WPML, you’ll also need the add-on.

I had always assumed LearnPress was a premium plugin that required a purchase to use, but I see that I may have been mistaken. Thanks again for your patience, and I hope this clears things up!
