Background of the issue:
I have a page in English and its translation in French. I am trying to link these two pages as translations of each other using WPML.

Symptoms:
I don't see any option to connect the English and French pages. It seems to require creating a new page and using credits to translate, which I have already done.

Questions:
How can I link two existing pages as translations of each other in WPML?
Why is it complicated to link two pages or products in WPML?

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with first debugging steps or if I can perhaps help with the issue quickly.

To set individually created pages as translations of an original, you have first to inform which language they're and then inform which is the original content in the default language. Refer to:
https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-link-already-translated-pages/

If that does not help, one of my colleagues will soon come to continue support.
