No problem Kor. Yes, the link in the button is now available in the ATE. I can translate it manually.

But that's not what I need. I need it to be translated automatically, just like all other links.

Thanks for your reply. I'd need to check with our 2nd Tier Support. Do you have another example to share? Since I've translated the button link earlier and we cannot undo that.

I manually translated the button link on hidden link, and another is hidden link where the button still links to English on the German translation.

New threads created by Kor and linked to this one are listed below:

Thanks for your reply. Our 2nd Tier Support is requesting that I report this separately since it's related to button links, so I've split the ticket here https://wpml.org/forums/topic/button-links-are-not-pointing-to-translated-page-automatically/ for follow-up.

As for this ticket, feel free to mark it as resolved.

Are you saying that you are confident that the problem with the links in the bullet list is solved?

If so, it requires the latest WPML version + the fix, so the solution for the live website is to wait for the next official release, which includes the fix? Which release would that be?

Thanks for your reply. The report is still being reviewed by our developers, and I don’t have an ETA to share yet. Our 2nd Tier Support has applied a workaround on your development site, so you can back up your production site and replace the WPML plugin with the version used on your dev site.

That's too risky. I will have to wait until we have a new round of updates and tests on our end. By that time, WPML will hopefully include the fix.

How can I check if a WPML version contains this specific fix? Does it have a case number or something?

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, there aren’t any follow-ups you can track at the moment, but I’ll notify you once it’s released.
