This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client has translated the footer menu from German to English, but the links within the menu still refer to the German pages instead of the corresponding English pages.

Solution:
1. Ensure that all pages are translated into the secondary language.
2. Check if the links are absolute or relative; they should be absolute links with the domain included.
3. Follow this procedure:
- Navigate to WPML -> Settings -> Translate Link Targets section.
- Click on "Scan now and adjust links".
- Wait for the scan to complete and then verify if the links are now pointing to the correct language.

We already get the Footer Menu translated from german > english.
The Problem ist, that we can not change the Links# where the Mneu ist set.
That means if you change to english version of the Website, the footer ist complete in english.
But unfortunately the links refer to the German Pages for example imprint, data poliucy or receipt ideas...

We do not found any way to change that links to the english pages

Hello there,

Thank you for your reply with us.

Can you please make sure that all those pages are translated into the secondary language.

Also, please check if those links are absolute or relative links, they need to be absolute links with the domain behind them in order for WPML to make the switch automatically.

Lastly, please try the following procedure to fix those URL:

- Go to WPML -> Settings -> Translate Link Targets section
- Clicking on "Scan now and adjust links"
- Wait for the scan to finish and check if the links are pointing to the correct language now.

Thank you, please give it a try and let us know how it goes.
