This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: If you're experiencing issues with displaying different language videos on different domain extensions using Woothumbs and WPML, and need to replace a video URL rather than uploading a new image in the WPML > Media Translation section. Solution: We recommend following these steps: 1. Navigate to Woothumbs > Performance and disable Image Caching. 2. Go to WPML > Settings > Custom Fields Translation and click on Show system fields. 3. Set the
_iconic_woothumbs_media
field to copy-once and save. 4. Access the Media Library, select the image, switch the language, and set a different video URL.
We applied these steps to a sandbox site to verify the solution. If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. We highly recommend opening a new support ticket for further assistance at WPML support forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
1) After translating any media attachment, You need to click the scan and replace button. (Kindly check the attached screenshot)
2) Could you please share your Debug information with me?
You can read a detailed explanation about it here. (http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support)
The debug info will give me much information about how your site is configured.
I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
Please add the data to the private field. If you don't see the form below, please don't add your credentials, as they will be publicly exposed٫ (hidden link)
It's back online. I deactivated the plugins to check the issue in the minimal setup, but that also deactivated the one-time login plugin, so please share the site's access details.
I deactivated the plugins, and the image appeared to be correct. Please activate your plugins one by one and check the image to know which plugin causes this issue.
