[Resolved] Mixed content after theme customizer update
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is experiencing an issue where after updating the theme customizer, the content that should remain in English is instead showing in other languages. This problem is linked to the Query Monitor plugin blocking Ajax actions from WPML during the save process. Solution: We recommend disabling the Query Monitor plugin, especially when updating content or translations, as it is primarily a debugging tool and can impact performance on live sites. Disabling it should resolve the issue with saving content in the correct language. For more details on this conflict, you can visit the discussion on WordPress.org.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at WPML Known Issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML Support Forum.

Concerning mixed content, I have another strange issue: 404 errors on translated pages and uncorrect redirection from default to translated content.
Check out my examples, on 2 different websites:
- Example 1 (switch the language with footer button > not a single translated page works: 404 error): hidden link
- Example 2 (switch the language with footer button > some language work, some redirect to a product page, some don't work: 404 error): hidden link

I can not tell if you have maybe enabled back same plugin or did some other steps that caused this again, but if I try to save correct eng string it shows up fine.
I would advise checking if you / or other user are doing any specific steps that is again causing issue.
I have checked but for me it works fine, so I can only suspect same thing happen as last time.
It could be that it caused it again. I have checked before, and it works fine for me.
I suggest checking further if there any specific steps that cause issue or if you still have it after disabeling related cache / plugins and let me know.
I believe there is something related to the access of theme customizer.
Did you access it from admin dashboard?
To fix one more time the mixed content, I accessed it from admin dashboard, and no issue so far.
It seems like accessing it from on-page with the wordpress admin top bar creates the bug. Im still not sure, it's a mess. So far now everything works.
