Hello,

Thanks.

Did you follow the instructions in WPML > Export and Import? Did you run the process after importing both files? It should be done once after both files are imported.

The Sandbox site didn't have the new plugin installed and active, did you remove it? In any case I installed and activated it now, you should start here:

Hi Otto,

I did not remove the WPML import and export plugin. Don't know what happened.

I don't know what I am doing wrong, i just can't get it to work!
Whenever I go to WPML Import and Export it's asking me how I am going to Export the content. No matter what I click i never get the option to run the import as in the tutorial.

I tried running a Import with the built in WooCommerce importer, and also with the WP All Import.

It's the same no matter what I do.

Is something wrong in my CSV import for ENG and SV. Have a look at the images.

Hello,

Once you run the import, in WPML > Export and Import, you should see the button to run the "connection process". Before that, you only see instructions about how the data should be prepared.

From the screenshots you've shared I noted that you are missing the field: _wpml_import_translation_group: A value that’s the same for all the translations of each item. In e-commerce sites this will often be the SKU.

This may be the reason why you don't see the "Run WPML Import" button.

Otto

Hi Otto,

So I did another Import now.
But this time I used one CSV file where I had both the ENG and SV product.

I used the WooCommerce import, and after the import I went to WPML Export and Import and clicked the "Run WPML Import. I can see the products now.

1: Even though I can see the products, there is no price for ENG or SWE. The CSV file has regular price and _regular_price_SEK.

2: Do I have to use a single file? Or can i use a ENG and CSV file? When I did them seperatelly it did not work.

Best regards
Mirsad

Another thing
When the SKU field is populated, I want to use the article number in the SKU. However, when I import separately using two files, the SWE import always skips one product because it says that the SKU already exists.

Hello,

You should be able to import the products using two files. But make sure you run the import process after importing both. Once you run it, the metadata is lost and then the second file is treated as a separate import (not connected with the previous).

Related to the price, please apologize, you need to include two fileds:
_regular_price_SEK
_price_SEK

Hi Otto,

Yeah I tried again and this time with 2 CSV files, but I also had to check this
Existing products that match by ID or SKU will be updated. Products that do not exist will be skipped. Otherwise it wont allow we to have the same SKU in both files.

Regarding the fields you mentioned.
I already have them in my CSV files. Se above where I sent the Images of my CSV files.
Butt still no price or add button on the SWE import.

Hello,

Thanks.

The import relies in custom fields. Please check this video:

Is for editing the price on the secondary currency, but it should be the same.

In the Sandbox we can't import custom fields (check the screenshot attached) because we need the PRO version. Can you please install it and give it a try?

Otto
