This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was unable to save product translations using the 'Save and close' button as the page would keep processing without saving or closing the translation.
Solution:
We recommended switching to the Advanced Translation Editor to resolve the issue. This change was implemented, and we asked the client to try this new translation method to see if it resolves the problem.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
Save my product translation by clicking on 'Save and close' but the page keeps on processing and doesn't close the translation nor does it save the translation.

Thank you for your patience. Here is the ticket. Please update the main language of the product you're having issues with. Then, make slight adjustments to the product title or content, and re-translate it to see if it resolves the issue for you.

Thanks for making this an email ticket. The issue still remains after editing the original language and then editing the translation. See attached image.

I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
