This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where the language switcher on their website is not functioning, despite having translated pages set up. The symptom observed is that the language switcher does not link to the translated pages correctly.
Solution:
We discovered that there is a 301 redirect affecting the "/fr" link, which might be set up via a plugin, custom coding, or directly from the hosting/domain management panel. We recommend checking these areas to identify and resolve the redirect issue. If the redirect is configured through the hosting/domain panel, it is advisable to contact the hosting/domain support team to assist in resolving this.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you need further assistance, please open a new support ticket with us at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I have translated my pages and set up the new menu in French on my site hidden link.

Symptoms:
The language switcher is not working, even though my translated pages exist. It seems like the link has not been made.

Questions:
Why is the language switcher not working on my site?
How can I link the translated pages correctly?

Hi there.

In the Chrome Network tab, I can see that there's a 301 redirect for the "/fr" link.

Not sure if this is set up via a plugin, via custom coding or straight from inside the Hosting/domain management panel, but I hope that this information will share a bit of light on this situation.

Please let me know how things go.

I understand.

Unfortunately, if the redirect is set via the hosting/domain panel, the only one that could help you is the hosting/domain support as we are not allowed to access customer's hosting/domain panel.

So I recommend that you reach out to the hosting/domain Support Team first and see if they can find the redirect that is currently set up.

Please let me know how things go.
