This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client's website includes "www" in the URL, but the link displayed in the backend does not include "www".
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend re-registering your website with the correct URL. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Visit https://wpml.org/account/sites and remove your website from the list.
2. Add it again, ensuring to include 'www' in the URL, and copy the newly generated key.
3. In your website's admin panel, navigate to Plugins > Add New > Commercial Tab and click on "Unregister WPML from this site".
4. Register the website again using the key you copied in step #2.

This should resolve the discrepancy in the URL displayed in the backend. Regarding the "Translate Everything Automatically" option, it will automatically translate all translatable content on your website. If you prefer more control over what gets translated, it's best not to activate this option.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket.

Hey there,

That might be expected in some scenarios, e.g. if the website was registered previously without the www. Is that causing any issues? Let me know if you are having any unexpected behaviors with credits or registration.

My website didn't have "www" when I registered it, but it does now, and I've already deleted and reconnected it. Since changing my website to "www," I've noticed abnormal points usage; I'm even afraid to turn on auto-translation, as it automatically consumes points every time I do. I don't know what it's translating. I suspect it's a domain mismatch issue, because the backend keeps showing a key mismatch message, and I've already used hundreds of thousands of points.

In this case, it's best to re-register the website. Please follow these steps:

1. Go to wpml.org/account/sites and remove the website from the list;
2. Add it again (with 'www') and copy the newly generated key;
3. In your website's admin panel, go to Plugins > Add New > Commercial Tab and click on "Unregister WPML from this site";
4. Register the website again, with the key you copied in step #2;

That should do the trick. Let me know how it goes.

As for the "Translate Everything Automatically" option, it will start indeed translating all translatable content on the website (posts, pages, forms, products, templates, strings etc). If you want to have more control, it's best not to activate this option.

After deleting the site key and removing the WPML connection in the location's business section, I re-added the new website connection. Now, in the "Add New Website" section, my website does include "www," but when I return to the points management page, my website still doesn't include "www."

I'm not sure this is relevant here - it seems we are focusing on that, while you have other issue. What's the unexpected behavior you're having? You mentioned about credits usage.

Please give me concrete examples and screenshots so I can understand what's actually behaving unexpectedly.
