This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needed the WPML CMS plugin for their site and was unable to update the WPML CMS translator plugin as it was missing or not available for update.
Solution:
We recommended the following steps to update the WPML plugins:
1. Take a backup of the site first for safety reasons.
2. Navigate to Plugins >> Add New Plugin page, click the Commercial tab, and then click the “Check for updates” button.
3. Update all outdated WPML plugins to the latest version.
If the update doesn’t appear or it fails, it might be due to WPML not being registered properly. In this case, follow these steps:
1. Login to your WPML.org account and go to the Sites page: https://wpml.org/account/sites/
2. Delete the existing site key.
3. Login to your site and navigate to the Dashboard >> Plugins >> Add new > Commercial tab and click the Unregister WPML from this site link if it exists.
4. Then click the Register WPML link.
5. Click the Get a key for this site link.
6. Copy the generated key, paste it back into the input box, and press the Register button.
7. Try to update the plugins again.
If needed, download the WPML Multilingual CMS plugin directly from: https://wpml.org/download/wpml-multilingual-cms/
If the issue persists, add the debug report in the Debug Information box: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem continues, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
