This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reactivated their WPML plugin after a period of deactivation and encountered errors with no languages available.
Solution:
1. Navigate to WPML >> Languages.
2. Click on the Add / Remove languages button.
3. If languages are visible, enable them.
4. If no languages appear, follow these steps:
- Take a backup of your site.
- Go to WPML >> Support >> Troubleshooting page.
- Enable the option: "This operation will reset WPML's language tables and reinstall it. Any custom languages that you added will be removed."
- Click the “Clear language information and repopulate languages” button.
5. If problems persist, check the _icl_languages table in your database to see if languages are listed or if it's empty. For more details, visit WPML Tables documentation.

I used WPML some years ago, but stopped paying for it. Some time ago after an WordPress update, the (not updated WPML plugin) caused the page to fail, and i had to de-activate it. After some time plugin was deleted and i realized that all my blog posts were not shown any longer and all country specific things were gone. I have never used any auto translation, just the ability to have a language selector on pages, and my manual translations from Danish (my language) to English and German. I purchased a new license yesterday, but after installing, i get errors and no languages available. I have attached a screenshot of the errors. I have access to my old version on a test page (still with WPML disabled, but present).

Hope you can help

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. Could you please try to follow the below steps and see if this resolves the issue:

1. Go to WPML >> languages.
2. Click on the Add / Remove languages button.
3. If the languages are there, please try to enable them and see if this resolves the issue.

If the languages are not there please try to follow the below steps:
1. Take a backup of your site first for safety reasons.
2. Go to WPML >> Support > Troubleshooting page.
3. Enable the “This operation will reset WPML's language tables and reinstall it. Any custom languages that you added will be removed.” option.
4. Press the “Clear language information and repopulate languages” button as you can see in the attached screenshot.

If the issue still persists, go to your database and locate the _icl_languages table and let me know if you see the languages listed there or if it's empty: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-tables/

Kindly let me know the results,
Thank you

When clicking Add/remove language, there is just a blank space.

Tried the reset, with same result.

DB result, can be seen on attached screenshot.

I did the “big” reset where it deletes and de-activates WPML. After activating again, i could chose languages and errors are gone
