[Resolved] Not able to translate Product Attributes
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is experiencing issues with WooCommerce when displaying Variable Product attributes in Products > Attributes. They created attributes in the primary language (Italian) during Variable Product creation. However, after publishing the products and attempting to translate the attributes, they found that the attributes appeared to be in English instead of Italian, causing confusion.
Solution: 1. We clarified that this is a cosmetic issue related to the admin language settings. 2. If the admin language is set to English and the client navigates to Products > Attributes, the language switcher will not be visible, and attribute names will appear in English. 3. We advised the client to edit the terms and check that English is set as the admin language filter. 4. To see the attributes in Italian, the client should switch the admin bar language to Italian and then go to Products > Attributes, where they will see the terms in Italian.

Unfortunately I'm having many issues with variable products.
I'm trying to translate Variable Product attributes. So I go to Woocomemrce->woocomerce Multilanguage-> attributes: there I find Attribute terms and a t the bottom of the page Attribute.
But there's something strange (please look at attached screen shot). Attribute is already in secondary language.
How i create attributes and translate them:
I created the Attributes during the Variable product creation in primary language (Italian). Then after publishing the products, I went to tradate Attributes (for example COLORE to english COLOR). But, big surprise, the Attribute is not in italian (like its terms are) but in English.
So it ask me to translate from English to Italian. I can't understand how it's possible and what to do..

Hello,
Please take note that the product attribute translation on WooCommerce Multilingual only is used for global attributes that are declared inside WooCommerce.
If you create custom attributes directly on a product, then those are only translatable, when translating the product with the WPML Translation Editor.
Further, the attribute base on your screenshot is by default always assigned to English. You can use the link to "Change language" and assign the source language to Italian.
Also, you should verify the product base slug and product category base slug inside WooCommerce Permalink Settings page and set the source languages accordingly.

I read your reply (it comes via email, I can't see here), but when I did what you write (that is logic) I have a strange reaction.
Steps I followed.
Since I had the attribute name in italian (primary language) like TAGLIA (size), when I went to Woocommerce Multilingual I find that it was under english flag. So did what you write (change language) and it comes under Italian flag and I translate it to English (secondary language). So till here everything OK.
BUT, when I opened again the Translation Attribute tab what I find is again English like primary (now translated) and Italian flag (should be primary) for translation (but empty).
IN ANOTHER CASE:
for attribute COLORE (color) I have a different (always strange) behaviour: after changing language I get Italian flag as Primary (OK) but text is in english: COLOR. But if I go to Woocommerce->Product->Attributes the text is COLORE (as it should be in Primary italian language, but Therms are changed all to english.
So it's a mix of language in back end (in front end seems ok)
Please let me know how to solve it.
One more thing, please:
I set Attribute title and slug (i usually use the same text, like Size/Size. But in Translation of taxonomy Size labels and slug I find label: 'Size' and slug 'Product size'. Where does 'Product' come from?

Your global attributes appear to be configured correctly when I visited your site.
Further, I reviewed a couple of products and I can not find an example where attributes are missing on the translations - if you have such cases, please send me a link to the affected products.
What I can confirm, is that there are issues in the layout and design, for example, the size attributes on the original products show a list of icons while on the translation we see a dropdown.
I could sadly not yet find the cause of a solution for this issue.
Please clarify for me if this is the issue that you would like to report on this ticket.
In case of note, please provide me more details about what exactly is not working on a translated product and send me a link to a translated example.

What I also can confirm, is that something is causing an error on WP Core and this leads to very long page loads that make it very hard to troubleshoot the website.
Error:
ob_end_flush(): Failed to send buffer of zlib output compression (0)
Do I understand right, that this is a test site on which I can deactivate plugins or switch themes for testing or would I need to create a copy for this purpose?

if I remember well I didn't write there'a some attribute missing. Perhaps I explain the issue in a wrong way.
So I try to describe which should be the standard/correct way of attribute translation.
Lets say that I have the attribute title/name is A_it (primary italian), the english will be A_en. after the translation from A_it to A_en, in the attribute translation panel I should have on the left an italian flag and the text A_it and on the right site 2 flags: italian with the globe icon, english flag with pencill/edit symbol. We can define it the aspected result of an attribute translation. This is how it should work. Can you confirm? Ok.
- What I have done:
I simply goes to Multilingual->attributes->select and attribute->I get a panel with the primary language text and on the right side the button to translate it. After that, the page reloads and then I can see my primary language and on the right the pencil icon->clicking on it i can see the secondary language translated text.
This is what I've done. And till here was ok.
- What doesn't work weel.
In my support request I attached 2 screenshot (look at first post or go to hidden link) of the result of the translation. After translation, if I go to attribute translation panel (please reload the page) I find on the left the italian flag and, below it, the text I assigned to the english translation (A_en), while on the right side if I click on the edit icon for english I get the same text A_en. This is the case of the attribute COLORE (please search it in the attribute translation panel).
I used WPML on several sites, I can't consider it normal, can you? Please can you confirm is it ok in your experience?
- But going further I have another issue, I can't consider it normal too. For another attribute (TAGLIA, please select it) I have a different behaviour that seems wrong too. Primary language off the site and of the attribute is italian (can you confirm it?). But after translate the attribute, in the Attribute panel I get, on the left side, the english flag (that should be secondary language), and the italian flag on the right with edit icon. So after translation, WPML has inverted primary and secondary language.
I get your point that in the attribute are ok in the product pages. Can we define it a good result...ok. But, as explained, if we go to attribute panel we get the language caos I described. Can you image what could be happen if I'll try to change the translation now, with this conditions. If everythig worked ok, I should have italian language flag with italian text as primary/original language and english flag with english text for translation (as it happens with post, pages, portfolios...created in primary/italian language and translated in secondary/english language).
Sorry for long explanation, but since I failed describing issues before, I try to be better this time.

This is simply a cosmetic issue.
If the language in your top admin bar is set to English and you go to Products > Attributes, then the language switcher is not visible in the admin bar and you see English term names.
If you edit the terms you will again see that English is set as the admin language filter.
If you switch the language inside the admin bar to Italian and go to Products > Attributes you will see Italian terms.
