This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is attempting to add a German domain to their website but is receiving a 'not valid' error despite the DNS A records pointing to the correct IP and having an active SSL certificate.

Solution:
We recommend the following steps:
1. Navigate to WPML-> Languages -> Language URL format.
2. Set the domains you want to use.
3. Uncheck the checkbox 'Validate on save'.
4. Click the 'Save' button.

This may resolve the issue as sometimes the 'Validate on save' can give a false positive. If this solution does not seem relevant or if the problem persists, please open a new support ticket with us.

I'm trying to add a german domain hidden link
It's on the same server as autopot.nl
When I'm saving I'm receiving a not valid error.
The DNS A records points to the same IP as the default domain and the SSL certificate is active on both side with a http to https pointer on it.
I've you need WP logins, let me know.

Hope you can help ASAP.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support.

Please try the following steps and check if it works:

- go to WPML-> Languages -> Language URL format
- set the domains you want to use
- un-check the checkbox "Validate on save"
- click the "Save" button

After, please check if it works, sometimes the "Validate on save" happens to give just a false positive when trying to save the new domain but it works just fine.

Let me know how it goes,
Marsel
