Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate this page: hidden link. I expected internal links to point to the translated versions of the pages, like here: hidden link.

Symptoms:
In some language versions, the links in the box point to the untranslated page, rather than the one of the respective translated page. There seems to be no UI where I can affect this. For instance, the Croatian version is affected: hidden link (until recently, the Polish version was affected as well but somehow seems to have fixed itself, which again leaves me stunned)

Questions:
Why do internal links point to the original language rather than the translated pages?
How can I ensure internal links point to the correct translated pages?
Why does this affect some languages and not other and it keeps shifting which languages are affected...

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

Internal links should point to the translated versions out of the box, however, as per my understanding that it is happening Intermittently. This is perhaps due to the caching.

I'll recommend clearing all caches and disabling the caching plugin and then observe the situation (i.e. if it happens again or not).

To fix the links which are currently having this problem, after clearing/disabling cache, try the followings:

- Open the content in default language for editing.
- Make a small change like a word or dot.
- Save.
- Update translations.

Alternatively you can open the translation in ATE (Advanced Translation Editor) for editing, search for the links by typing "http" (without quotation marks) in the top right search box within the translation editor. And then correct these manually.

Please let me know your findings and I'll try my best to help you further on the matter.

Regards.

The issue resolved itself on most translations, but it persists in at least one, see hidden link

The behaviour is really erratic.

Thank you for the updates.

I've checked the said URL for any internal link pointing to wrong location, but as per my observation, all internal links have /ca/ (language) part in it.

Can you provide some screenshots or screen recording to show about the links which are wrong on this page?
