Problem:
The client is concerned about whether manual changes made to the English version of their site will be deleted when they synchronize the versions automatically.
Solution:
We advised the client that this might be expected behavior and requested screenshots to better understand the sequence of steps before and after the issue occurs. We also asked for clarification on the file being uploaded. Hi again, I closed the ticket unintentionally. You sent me to see if the custom-xml-configuration was correctly set. My question is when I manually edit the English version of my site and if then I want to synchronize the versions automatically, will my manual changes be deleted?

Hi, I didnot receive a satisfying answer from the chat bot about my case.

Several times it happened that when I manually upload a file in my English version through DIVI Editor and I change manually a text, then next time I click the "sync"botton from WPML translation section - it deletes all my English changes.

What should I do?

It’s possible that what you’re experiencing is expected behavior. Could you please provide screenshots showing the sequence of steps—both before the issue appears and when it occurs?

Also, could you clarify what file you are uploading?
