This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where the updated translations are not displayed on their website, despite the translation process being completed and showing as 100% in the backend. Instead of the expected updated translation, an outdated version appears. The WPML gear symbol is visible, not the pen icon, indicating a potential synchronization issue.
Solution:
We recommended the client to provide a video demonstrating the steps they followed to translate the product, which would help us better understand the scenario and reproduce the issue. Additionally, we asked for detailed step-by-step descriptions of the process and screenshots to minimize errors in diagnosing the problem. We also requested access credentials to the site after confirming that a full site backup was created, allowing us to examine the configuration directly.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should these steps not resolve the issue, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a page on my website. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The translation is completed, but the updated translation is not shown. Instead, I see an outdated translation.
In the backend I see the WPML gear symbol, not the pen, although translation was at 100% and has been completed.
We had this problem now several times, see our other tickets.
As usual, I went many times through all translated items, checked them, saved them. No orange markers for problems.
Also did changes in the web page and updated to trigger the WPML update, didn't help.

Questions:
Why is the updated translation not showing on the page?
How can I ensure the translation is updated correctly?

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us

Could you share a link to a video showing the steps you followed to translate the product and reproduce the issue?

This will help me to understand the scenario better.

Regards,
Carlos

I know you have opened other tickets for a similar issue -probably the same- and in the one with Osama: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translation-not-shown-when/ you answered exactly the same.

I need you to be cooperative, and although sometimes it seems you are repeating the problem, this information will help us isolate the cause of the issue and find a solution.

So please, describe step by step how to reproduce the issue and share at least some screenshots so I can see exactly what you are seeing. This will considerably decrease the margin of error.

Also, I kindly ask you to share the access credentials to the site in your next message so I can take a closer look at the configuration.

Confirm you created a full site backup before sharing the credentials that you can use to restore the site if necessary.
