Dear Support,

I tried to add a new translation (French) to the English "Business" page (in the wordpress pages)
I could add the French text but after that the arrows are stuck in a loop and the new French page did not appear.

I deleted the "in progress" translation and tried again but still does not work.

I checked the memory limit but is seems to be fine.

Hello Szami,

can you please share the URL to the page that you are having issues with?

1) Please also try next steps:

Go to WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting and Press the following buttons:
• "Clear the cache in WPML"
• "Remove ghost entries from the translation tables"
• "Fix element_type collation"
• "Set language information"
• "Fix post type assignment for translations"

Try to click the 2 options about "ATE" (sync ATE local jobs / translators... the other option might not be on your site, it only appears if you have an issue related to that problem but it has the word "ATE" in it so you can easily spot it)

2) Make a small change to the default language page title and save.

Go to WPML > Translation Management. Send page for translation. Go to WPML > Translation > Take and translate.

Hi Drazen,

I tried to follow your list but still does not work and still in a translation loop. and the new French page is not made.

This is the page I try to translate.

Because it is based on sliders I only need to translate the Title and the system should make the French page with all of the sliders but it does not.

Could you please check what could be the problem?

Hello Szami,

let me have a look and try.

Please make a full backup of your site (files and database) and confirm it in your next reply.

Please note, that I might need to do some debugging procedures like enable/disable plugins, switch themes, change the default language of the user account, and/or access your website database to debug the issue furtherly.

I will share with you any changes or steps done in this process. Please let me know if you do not agree with the above or if I do not have your permission for any.

I would need to access both your site's wp-admin and FTP account, if possible.

I have enabled the private username and password fields in your next reply.

I suggest you create a new user, set it as an administrator and then add those credentials in the private fields mentioned.

You can safely add your information into these fields.

Hello Szami,

I have checked and fixed the issue, there where some misconfiguration with ATE credentials.

I have sent the pages for translation again and translated, they are marked as completed now.
