I am trying to visit the URLs as well as the main site hidden link but looks like there's too much load on the site which is taking forever to load the page. Anyways, before proceeding further, may I ask you to try the following? IMPORTANT: Take full backup of your website and database beforehand. It is highly advised to try the following on a staging/dev site first, so your live website isn't compromised. - Deactivate all plugins except WPML and its addons and check for the issue, specially any redirection, caching and firewall plugins deactivated. - Repeat the with a default theme of WordPress (i.e. 2021 or 2023). Please let me know and I 'll try my best to help you further on the matter. Regards.

I checked and found that the last page for the said category is 6 (hidden link) - see attached. I am not sure where are those extra pages coming from. By any chance, were there that number of posts under this category which produced 12 pages? And the sitemap was submitted, later the posts were removed but updated sitemap hasn't been submitted again? How is your SEO team getting these links, I mean if they don't exist on your site, how these are available in a sitemap or the SEO stuff? Can you please check and confirm?
