Background of the issue:
I am trying to update my payment method on my WordPress site using WPML. Here is the link to the page where the issue can be seen: hidden link.
Symptoms:
After completing the 3D-verification via my bank, I expected to see a confirmation of my credit card and a redirect to the Tools-page. Instead, I got a white page when it transitions back to WordPress. The 3D-verification shows a green confirmation, but WordPress displays a white page and doesn't load. Additionally, my new credit card is now declined after multiple attempts.
Questions:
Why am I seeing a white page after the 3D-verification?
Why is my new credit card being declined after multiple attempts?
I checked with my credit card company and the reason it first didn't work was because I reached my limit. Now that limit has been upped and the credit card company confirmed me there were no issues anymore from their side.
When I input the credit card number with the new 'valid thru' date, it says 'your card has been declined'. I don't get the 3D-validation. It seems like it got blocked by WPML because of a couple of bad tries.
Which is a problem, because my current card is only valid until May 2025, and I'm using pay-as-you-go.
