Background of the issue:
I am trying to set up specific redirects for subdomains that are assigned to languages on my site hidden link using Rank Math.

Symptoms:
Redirects are shared across all languages. Due to the fact that we use subdomains - and Rank Math redirects strip the domain part - all of my redirects are being pointed to the main language, instead of their respective pages under subdomains.

For example, for fr.site.com/page1 -> fr.site.com/page2 redirection, Rank Math strips the domain from the source, causing the redirect to be site.com/page1 -> fr.site.com/page2 (which means, it redirects all the traffic from the main language to the subdomain).

Questions:
How can I set up per-language redirects for subdomains in Rank Math?

Hello,

To investigate this issue further, I need to replicate it on my local environment for debugging. Could you provide me with backups of the **wp-content** folder and the database? Please compress these files into a ZIP archive and share them via a file-sharing platform.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks!

I still feel that the most complete solution to this would be to allow language-dependent redirect list.
Teams that manage particular languages should be able, in my opinion, to set up their own redirects, that don't affect the entire website across all languages.

Hi there,

Thank you for your suggestions. However, as mentioned earlier, the functionality you’re expecting isn’t currently possible. It would require development work on RankMath first, followed by compatibility testing and further development on WPML’s end—making it quite a complex task.

I replicated your site on my localhost, set up a few redirections, and everything worked perfectly. Please check this video to verify if I followed the correct steps:
hidden link

On my local setup, I disabled all non-essential plugins and caching. I specifically created a redirection from forex-dealer-vs-forex-brokerto hidden link. Regardless of the domain used, the slug correctly redirects to the intended URL.

If you confirm that my steps are correct, I recommend disabling the cache and testing in a minimal setup on your site to check for any plugin conflicts.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks!
