Background of the issue:
I am planning to install WPML on a testing site to test its functionality before installing it on our live site. We are using a custom permalink structure (/blog/%postname%/) to have our blog posts at /blog/. Here's an example: hidden link. I see in the WPML minimum requirements that 'Other permalink structures may work too but can cause problems'.
Symptoms:
Concern about potential issues with the current custom permalink structure when using WPML.
Questions:
Can I keep our permalink structure as is, or do I have to change it?
Do I need to check with our host to see if the Multibyte String extension, SimpleXML extension for using XLIFF files in WPML, the eval() PHP function, and the libxml PHP Module 2.7.8 or higher are enabled?
