[Resolved] Plus addons for elementor cannot be translated
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was experiencing issues with untranslated tooltips and sections on their website, which were created using Plus Addons for Elementor. Solution: We recommended updating all outdated plugins, including WPML and Elementor, to ensure compatibility. For the untranslated sections, we added custom XML configurations to WPML > Settings > Custom XML Configuration. Here are the configurations used:

everything is updated now, elementor loading normally for me. Remember to log in to the staging environment which is up to date. Currently I only have these problems:
1) The tooltips not translated (made with Plus addons for elementor) hidden link
(hover on product to see the tooltip)
2) The last section on this page not translated (also made with Plus addons for elementor):
Thanks for your reply. Sorry, I worked on your production site instead. My apologies. Could you undo the changes? I've updated WPML plugins and Elementor.
I'm checking your staging site now and will come back to you with my findings.
I'm still checking on the tooltip issue. As for the bottom section here hidden link , I've added the custom XML configuration below into WPML > Settings and it seems to display correctly now.
seems to work. Now I noticed another problem still with custom post type "ihmiset". It appears as if the Competences were translated in translation editor but when I view the pages, they are not. Examples of pages, where not all content is translated: hidden link hidden link hidden link
Competencies and Education sections are not translated. These are made with "Stylish list" widget (Elementor plus addons).
Actually the tooltips are not that important - it's great if you can get them translated but they are not top on the list. Top priority would be to get custom post type "ihmiset" posts fully translated. Competencies and Education sections are not translated. It appears as if the Competences were translated in translation editor but when I view the pages, they are not. Examples of pages, where not all content is translated: hidden link hidden link hidden link
These are made with "Stylish list" widget (Elementor plus addons).
look at your screenshot again: under "competences" there remains untranslated list: "mekaniikkasuunnittelu" "ohutlevysuunnittelu" etc. Same under "Education & Experience"
Yes, I understand. You'll need to resync the translations because I've added some new custom XML configurations.
To do this, simply edit the English language page, then go back to the primary language page and click "save." Allow some time for the resync process. Once you see the eye icon, it indicates that the translation is complete and awaiting review.
Only one more problem, then I think everything works. On the front page the services section icon boxes are not translated. These are also made with Elementor Plus addons widget.
It looks good when I checked. Am I looking at the wrong section? I've attached a screenshot for our reference.
