This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
When the client duplicates a post or page and then changes the content, WPML usually translates the new content automatically upon publishing. However, the client encountered an issue where a duplicated post did not translate in other languages, retaining the H1 and slug of the original post.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to resolve this issue:
1. Go to the pages section and edit the page in the default language.
2. Make a small edit to the page and then update it.
3. Access the translation of the page and complete the translation process.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Additionally, if you need further assistance, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
