Hi,
I'm experiencing a persistent issue with blog post titles not displaying correctly in my French and English translations, and I need help identifying whether this is a WPML configuration issue.
Setup:

WordPress with WPML (multilingual: Dutch as main language, French and English as translations)
Elementor Pro with a Loop Grid and Loop Item template for the blog overview page
HappyAddons plugin for the Post Title widget

The problem:
The Post Title widget (both Elementor's native widget and HappyAddons) stopped working on recently updated or newly created posts. Older posts still show their title but in an outdated layout.
When I translate the blog overview page via WPML, the titles appear correctly in French and English — but the next day they are gone again. This reset happens consistently after every translation sync.
What I've already tried:

Rebuilding the Loop Item template from scratch
Regenerating Elementor files
Using different Post Title widgets (Elementor native, HappyAddons)
Restoring Elementor revisions

Suspected cause:
It appears WPML is overwriting the Elementor data of the Loop Item template or the translated posts every time a Dutch post is updated or published, resetting the French and English versions to an older state.

How can I solve this issue?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. To see if there is an inherent error happening on the code level between WPML and Elementor, I created a clean WordPress installation and installed Elementor, Elementor pro and WPML.

You can access the admin here:

Would you please add a Loop Grid on a sample page and add a few sample blog entries and check if the same issue happens?

As you mentioned, the same thing happens on Elkementor pro I think there is no need to install Happy Elementor Addons.

If the issue can be replicated, then I will immediately report this to our compatibility team.

If not, you will need to check by following the steps below:

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except:
. WPML Multilingual CMS
. WPML String translation
. Elementor
. Elementor Pro
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.

Thanks.
