Background of the issue:
I am trying to activate the Pay-as-you-go service in WPML.
Symptoms:
Site refuses to connect a payment card, returning the message: "An error occurred while confirming your subscription: %{message}". All previous transactions related to WPML are paid.
Questions:
Why is the site refusing to connect a payment card?
What does the error message mean?
How can I successfully activate the Pay-as-you-go service?

Hi,
The error message you're seeing — "An error occurred while confirming your subscription: %{message}" — typically appears when there's an unpaid invoice associated with the WPML account.
Could you please let me know which site URL you're experiencing this issue on?
Alternatively, you can check for any outstanding invoices by going to:
WPML > Translation Management > Translation Tools
Let me know what you find, and I’ll be happy to assist further.

In our system, I see the following URLs are registered:
- hidden link
- hidden link
For the first URL, there's an unpaid invoice available at the following link: hidden link
**Invoice details:**
- Billing period: January 3 – February 3, 2025
- Item: Pay-as-you-go credits (EUR)
- Quantity: 2,502
The website UUID for this site is `66396431-6562-5762-b536-323761666465`.
You can verify this in the WordPress admin under:
`wp-admin/admin.php?page=sitepress-multilingual-cms%2Fmenu%2Ftroubleshooting.php` – under the "Automatic Translation Account ID" section.
Could you please let us know if you're able to proceed with the payment, after the above invoice is paid? If not the same sites, are they sharing translation credits?
The Pay-us-to-go service has been activated, however, when trying to translate the designed page, a message appeared saying: "WPML encountered a problem while trying to automatically translate some of your content:". In WPML settings -> Translation Management, you can see that the Pay-us-to-go service is activated. There was also a problem with editing existing pages, when editing, a message appears saying: "There is an issue with automatic translation that needs your attention" then a page appears that informs about the possibility of buying credits (Review translation costs and pay deposit to continue) instead of using the already activated Pay-us-to-go service.

Apologies for the delayed response — due to the Easter holidays, most of the team, myself included, were out of office.
There are currently two issues:
1. Polish is not yet supported by WPML AI (beta). Because of this, you'll need to add an additional translation engine hidden link
2. I’ve temporarily disabled the "Translate Everything" mode, but you can go to hidden link) to re-enable it.
Also, when you click the "Fix it now" icon (if it appears), you may be prompted to pay a deposit. Please note that there is a €100 safety limit in place which needs to be paid in the event that as many content was already translated.
Could you check all of the above and let me know if you have any questions?
